My new job!

I am really tired, it was a 10 hour day today, but I thought I was overdue for a blog post.
I got a job! I am very excited about it. I'm the music assistant at a big church, and I get to keep all students, etc.! I am learning two new programs; MediaShout and Planning Center Online. They are both complex, especially MediaShout. Thankfully, I already know how to use Finale like the back of my hand. I learned all sorts of things today. Where office supplies are located, how to get into my computer, how many documents you have to sign for a "real job", where to find the free coffee and the 35 cent pop, how to use the copier, fax machine, phone, how to do my job, and basics on all the programs I will be using. Then it was the church wide dinner at 5, and Monday night series at 6 which I ran the projector for up in the loft - something I won't be doing on Sunday mornings usually.
I get to keep all my students also! I have a huge office lined with windows, a great workspace to be in. I can teach my students there. I really like the people I work with - they were all very nice. I had my first staff meeting of my life other than our 4 person music tech lab meetings in college, and my first "break room lunch". Haha it's kind of fun! I like everyone a lot. They're fun.
Well, I am tired and becoming an old person with my bedtime...Oh well.
