This Nativity scene was one of the many wonderful Christmas items/decorations that my sister gave me. For our wedding present, they did the coolest thing! They bought a bunch of Christmas items and gave them to us - including ornaments, lights, etc. This particular piece is from 10,000 villages, a place where people from impoverished countries make beautiful crafts and then you buy them at a store. They are all about fair trade and all that. It's a cool organization/store.
